Rooms · Room 3
The Gable
The seaward corner, with the tarred wall outside and room for a third bed if you need one.
The corner room on the first floor, two windows on two walls, and the 1908 tar still on the outside of the gable where nobody has ever managed to get it off. On a south-westerly you can hear it against the glass, which people either love or ask to move.
Three of you
We can put a single bed in the alcove with a day’s notice. It is a proper bed, not a folding one, and it costs £35 including breakfast.
What is in it
King bed, a bath with a shower over it, two windows, and the warmest radiator in the building for reasons the heating engineer has never satisfactorily explained.
Reservations
We answer the telephone between eight and eight.
One of the four rooms is held back for people who ring rather than book online. If the calendar says we are full, it is still worth asking.
