Quay
First floor, straight over the harbour wall. You can hear the boats going out at five, and you will.
The most straightforward room in the house and the one we give people who have not stayed before. One large window, one large bed, and about nine metres of air between you and the water at high tide.
The noise
Boats leave between five and half past, most days, and they are not quiet. If you are a light sleeper take Marsh instead — we would rather tell you now than refund you later.
What is in it
King bed, a desk that was a fish crate, a shower you can turn round in, and the good chair from the old bar.
Reservations
We answer the telephone between eight and eight.
One of the four rooms is held back for people who ring rather than book online. If the calendar says we are full, it is still worth asking.
