Saltmarsh
Book a room
Four rooms, one telephone, and a person on the end of it.
Choose your dates above and we will come back to you the same day, or ring — between eight in the morning and eight at night there is a person here, and it is faster.
What to tell us
- Which nights, and how many of you.
- Whether you want dinner, and on which nights. Residents are not seated automatically; there are only twenty-eight covers.
- Anything you cannot eat.
- Whether there is a dog. Two of the four rooms take them.
A note on the calendar
It shows what our book shows, and our book is a book. If it says we are full, it is worth ringing anyway: we hold one room back from online enquiries and cancellations inside a fortnight are common.
Saltmarsh is a fictional hotel, built as a demonstration. The telephone number, the address and the availability on this site are invented.
Reservations
We answer the telephone between eight and eight.
One of the four rooms is held back for people who ring rather than book online. If the calendar says we are full, it is still worth asking.
