Rates and availability
Per room, per night, including breakfast and the seven-thirty pot of tea outside your door if you ask for it. Dinner is charged separately at £52 for three courses.
What is included
Breakfast, cooked to order between eight and half past nine. Tea or coffee brought to the door at half seven if you ask the night before. Boots, binoculars where the room has them, and a tide table.
What is not
Dinner, at £52 for three courses. The extra single bed in the Gable, at £35. Dogs, at £15 a night in the two rooms that take them.
Minimum stays
Two nights on Friday and Saturday outside the low season, and three over the late-May and August bank holidays. Single nights midweek are always fine and are the best value in the building.
Deposit and cancellation
One night’s rate to hold the room, taken by card over the telephone. Cancel more than fourteen days out and it comes back in full; inside fourteen days we keep it unless we re-let the room, which with four rooms we usually can.
The next twelve months
Every night we have left.
Reservations
We answer the telephone between eight and eight.
One of the four rooms is held back for people who ring rather than book online. If the calendar says we are full, it is still worth asking.
